Why Study in Australia?

Australia is home to the famous group of 8 universities, being the third most popular destination after USA and UK. Australia is known for its diversity and varied climatic conditions. Study options

There has been a rise in the number of students pursuing an education in Australia. Business, tourism, accounting, IT, MBA being a few preferred course with the international students. While choosing a course, an international student must make sure to select a CRICOS (Commonwealth Register Of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) registered institution. This selection ensures that the students meet the high standard of the Australian education system. The universities offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The undergraduate program lasts for 3-4 years postgraduate courses are for 1 – 2 years. There are 38 public and 3 private universities. Universities have a February and July intake with few options available for October intake.

Cost of education

An undergraduate degree would range around AUD 10000-30000, and postgraduate degree would cost approximately AUD 20000-40000. The cost of living on an average is AUD 18000 per year. Accommodation and other incidental expenses adding up to 800 AUD per week.

Scholarships

Merits form the basis of scholarships in Australia covering both tuition and living, in some cases for international students. 24% scholarship is provided but not with the group of 8 universities.
